DIRECT BROWSER INSTALL

Install GenInspect straight from the browser.

GenInspect is distributed as one browser-installed web app. There is no Apple App Store or Google Play download, and installation does not require an app-store account. Access still requires an approved named GenInspect account.

Use the operational GenInspect address.

The marketing website and Vercel review pages are not the app installation address. Start from the GenInspect app address below and sign in with your own company account.

One direct source

Install the current GenInspect web app from its approved address instead of finding a separate mobile-store version.

Your named account remains required

Store-free installation removes the app-store account step. It does not replace your individual, approved GenInspect sign-in, and shared credentials are not permitted.

Prepared for field conditions

Supported field records and attachments can remain on the device during poor reception and synchronise later when a connection is available.

Instructions for your device and browser

Apple iPhone and iPad: Safari, Chrome or Firefox. Android: Chrome or Firefox. Select the browser you use below.

  2. Select the install icon in the address bar, or find the install option in the browser menu.
  3. Choose Install GenInspect (or Install this page as an app) and confirm.
  4. Open GenInspect from your computer’s apps list or its new app shortcut.
Can’t see the install option?

Check your computer’s apps list for GenInspect. If you are using an iPad, choose your iPad browser above; desktop browsing mode can make an iPad appear to be a computer.

If you still cannot install, contact support@geninspect.com.au with your device model, operating-system version, browser and the menu options you see.

First sign-in needs an internet connection. Open the app and the records you need while online before field work.

OFFLINE BOUNDARIES

Installation helps in the field, but first access still needs a connection.

Supported field records and attachments can remain on the device during poor reception and synchronise later. First-time access, sign-in and account functions require an internet connection.

Before leaving reception, check that your work has synchronised and the app is ready offline. Keep independent copies of required records.
